Training clinicians, academics and industry in translational research is essential for the development of novel HealthTech solutions that can improve patient outcomes and their experience of healthcare services.

The NIHR HRC in Emergency and Acute Care is developing the next generation of innovators with the knowledge and skills to progress innovations from idea to adoption in the health and care system.

Our programme will include:

  • Training modules and workshops focused on the HealthTech innovation pathway, including regulatory and business processes as well as translation, commercialisation, health economics and evidence needs.
  • Placements and fellowships with other institutions and industry partners.
  • PhD studentships.
