The NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Emergency and Acute Care is committed to ensuring Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) is championed in all we do. Patients and the public are involved throughout at every stage of development, ensuring that health technologies are fit for purpose and accessible for all. We will ensure that health technologies we develop benefit the diverse populations of Greater Manchester and wider UK, and are effective regardless of an individual’s ethnic group, gender, background or any other characteristic.
Our EDI strategy is currently being developed in collaboration with the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) and NIHR Manchester Clinical Research Facility (CRF).
