Emma Gordon
Project Manager
Emma has worked in health and social care since 2020, starting her career as a high-cost drugs administrator at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). She then spent three years at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), where she held various project management roles across both the Technology Appraisals and Corporate teams. She also completed a Project Management apprenticeship, earning the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ). Emma holds a BA in English Literature from The University of Sheffield and a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification that she earned while teaching in Spain and Vietnam.
In 2024, Emma joined MFT’s Research and Innovation Team as a Project Manager for the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre (HRC) in Emergency and Acute Care. In this role, she collaborates with industry and academic partners to plan and manage projects that promote the development of innovative health technologies, supporting the HRC’s goal of improving urgent and emergency care.
