Thomas Bradley
Project Manager
Thomas has worked within the NHS since 2019, joining Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) as a Medical Laboratory Assistant in the pathology labs. In 2020, Tom joined Research and Innovation at MFT, initially as an administrator in a research governance role before becoming a Project Officer for the Diagnostics and Technology Accelerator (DiTA). Thomas is now a Project Manager for the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Emergency and Acute Care.
Before joining the Trust, Thomas obtained a master’s degree in Neuroscience from The University of Manchester (MNeuro, Hons), following completion of a one-year research project focusing on cytokines neuroinflammation. Thomas also completed a summer research experience placement at The University of Manchester, using behavioural assays to screen for anticonvulsant compounds in fruit flies.
As Project Manager for the HRC in Emergency and Acute Care, Thomas works across the HRC themes: engaging with industry and academic partners to support the planning and delivery of projects that help the HRC achieve its vision in transforming urgent and emergency care by driving the commercial development of novel health technologies.
