Rachel Reed
Senior Clinical Trials Co-ordinator
Rachel has worked in biomedical research, molecular diagnostics and research project management since 2012, within both industry and academic settings. She joined The University of Manchester in 2016 where she focused on research project management and clinical trial coordination support. Prior to joining academia, Rachel held laboratory and development positions at QIAGEN, Yourgene Health and Porton Biopharma. Through these roles, she developed expertise in molecular diagnostics, translational research, HTA compliance, clinical trial support and regulatory processes.
Rachel holds a BSc in Biomedical Science from the University of Salford and an MSc in Molecular Pathology from The University of Manchester. As Senior Clinical Trial Co-ordinator for the NIHR HRC: Emergency and Acute Care, Rachel works across its themes, collaborating with industry and academic partners to plan and deliver projects that advance innovative health technologies and transform urgent and emergency care in the NHS.
